Ms. Paw was born in Burma but raised in Thailand, Mae La Oo refugee camp and moved to the U.S in 2014. She is studying at Metropolitan State University, majoring in Early Childhood Education. ”I love working with little kids because they give me so much joy and happiness. During my free time I love hanging out with my friends and spending time with my family.”
Hyokyung Kwak 곽효경

Ms. Kwak's journey abroad commenced in 2017 when she traveled to Wales, UK, to study English. During her time there, she was captivated by the various teaching methods employed by educators. In 2019, she pursued her studies in Early Childhood Education in the United States. Driven by a desire to explore education on a global scale, Ms. Kwak embarked on a program in Comparative and International Development Education at the University of Minnesota in 2022. Her future aspirations include establishing a school in an underserved area, where she can offer a curriculum that fosters students' potential and nurtures them into global citizens.
Hayeon Lee

Ms. Hayeon Lee holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Graphic Design and brings a creative flair to her teaching. Her passion for inspiring young minds is matched by her love for discovering the latest design trends, which she incorporates into her work on the school's social media. In her free time, Hayeon enjoys working out and practicing jiu-jitsu to stay energized and focused. She also loves visiting coffee shops to unwind and find fresh inspiration.

She is from the beautiful city of Jeju, South Korea. Her educational journey commenced in elementary school, where her homeroom teacher discovered and nurtured her natural talent for mathematics. Encouraged by this mentorship and driven by her inherent love for numbers, she embarked on a path to explore the depths of mathematics, ultimately leading her to pursue a PhD in the field.
As a devoted mom of two wonderful daughters, ages 6 and 3, she has gained first-hand insight into the pivotal role of education in shaping future generations. With 23-24 seasons ahead of her, she is dedicated to creating learning environments that nurture, enrich, and empower young learners.

Jesse Schonfeld
IT Director | Owner, Reboot Systems LLC & Umbrella Systems

With over 20 years of IT experience and more than a decade of dedicated work with schools, He is currently manage IT operations for four schools in Minnesota. His journey began as onsite IT support for a single school, and has since expanded to overseeing comprehensive IT services across multiple institutions. He holds a BA in Network Technology (Magna Cum Laude) and an AAS in Graphic Design (Summa Cum Laude). My certifications include A+, MCSA, Network+, HME, and CCENT, among others. In addition to his role at Sejong Korean Immersion School, He owns and operate Reboot Systems LLC and am a partner in Umbrella Systems. His companies have collaborated on projects with several Fortune 500 companies, including Wells Fargo, Target, Best Buy, Bank of America, Taco Bell, and many others. Originally from Philadelphia, his son and he has called Minnesota home for over 15 years. Outside of work, He enjoys binge-watching Netflix, cheering for the Eagles, and embarking on adventures with his significant other—often in his pink Miata during Minnesota’s short summers.
Saw Tho Du Soe. 사토두소

Mr. Soe received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He believes in serving his community and has volunteered with Save the Boundary Waters, Regions Hospital, his local church and the YMCA. He has worked with students from elementary school through high school. Mr. Soe says, "I am passionate about my people. One day, I would like to return to my Karen homeland, KawThooLei, to help build the community there."
